W.W. Gay’s Inaugural Giving Back Games Raises Over $40,000 for The Healing Hearts Project

Jacksonville, FL – March, 31, 2025 – W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc. hosted its Inaugural Giving Back Games at Daily’s Place Flex Field on Friday, March 28 bringing together employees, customers, vendors, and local businesses for a day of friendly competition and community spirit. The event was a resounding success, raising more than $40,000 in support of The Healing Hearts Project, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting families with children facing critical medical conditions.

The Giving Back Games featured a variety of interactive challenges, including a football throw, cornhole, and basketball free throws, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among participants. The event provided a unique opportunity for companies across the region to engage in a meaningful way while supporting a worthy cause.

“Seeing so many companies come together for a fun-filled day while making a real difference in our community was truly inspiring,” said Emily Andrews, Vice President of Marketing & Community Relations at W. W. Gay. “We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity that helped us make a significant impact for The Healing Hearts Project.”

A special thank you goes to all event sponsors, especially the top-level Champion Sponsors DeWalt and Florida Hydronics. Their contributions, along with those of many others, played a vital role in the success of the event.

The day concluded with an awards ceremony and check presentation to representatives of The Healing Hearts Project.

W. W. Gay extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated, contributed, and made the Giving Back Games a tremendous success. Plans are already in motion for next year’s event, as the company continues its commitment to giving back to the community.
