Starting in March 2023, W. W. Gay was chosen to contribute to the enhancement of the Baptist Medical Center’s 13,000-square-foot Pediatric Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit Floor Expansion.

Our scope of work included supervising all plumbing and mechanical installations. This involved installing 37 VAV Boxes, 1 Fan Coil Unit, and 1 Exhaust fan, as well as reconfiguring mechanical piping and ductwork to better serve the new layout. On the plumbing front, we successfully installed 12 new BHU patient bathrooms and adjusted the associated piping.

Spanning 11 months, this expansion successfully concluded in February 2024.
