Ascension St. Vincent’s St. Johns County Hospital is a two-story, 148,000-square-foot healthcare facility designed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing St. Johns County community. The hospital offers a wide range of essential services, including emergency care, inpatient hospitalization, orthopedics and musculoskeletal care, general surgery, laboratory services, and advanced imaging.
Developed as a strategic expansion to support increased demand for healthcare in the region, the facility added more than 56 new patient beds, including 8 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds.
From the very beginning of this 15-month project, W. W. Gay assisted with preconstruction efforts through comprehensive Virtual Design Construction. In addition, our scope of work included the complete installation of HVAC systems, building controls, plumbing, and medical gas systems. Through early collaboration and precise execution, W. W. Gay helped deliver a modern, efficient healthcare facility tailored to the community’s current and future needs.
