W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc. provided all mechanical and plumbing aspects for the HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. This four-story, 205,000 square foot facility is designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of Gainesville and its growing surrounding areas. Kicking off in 2024, W. W. Gay has been entrusted with providing all mechanical systems for this project. That includes the installation of 20 Air Handler Units and a 1,530-ton Central Energy Plant (CEP), which are critical components that will help ensure the hospital’s systems run reliably and efficiently for decades to come.

Taking on a project of this magnitude required not only technical expertise but also an extraordinary level of dedication from our crews. Our team was tasked with delivering this facility on an accelerated schedule to meet the customer’s needs. Meeting such a timeline has demanded months of overtime and long, tireless hours from our crews.
